Do you want to read Tarot for yourself and others but feel overwhelmed in getting started?
This workshop demystifies the Tarot by introducing an “informed intuition” process that combines Tarot
fundamentals with your inherent insights. Part lecture, part hands-on, but definitely fun and
approachable, this class is great for beginners and seasoned Tarot enthusiasts alike. We’ll be using the
Rider Waite Tarot deck but you’re welcome to bring any deck you have. Also bring a notebook and pen
for exercises and taking notes.

Sarah Handler has been reading Tarot for over 20 years and teaching it for the last four. She believes
Tarot is merely a vehicle for our own intuition to drive us through life's journey. Sarah lives in
Morristown with her husband, toddler son and rescue dog. Her favorite card is The Magician and her
least favorite is the Seven of Swords. Sarah is also one of our yearly members at SSYN.
Fall Equinox Singing Bowls
Celebrate the Fall Equinox with a Sound Bath. Dave will create an immersive, healing sound bath. The sound of pure tone produces sine waves, which are present in the brain during an alpha state, inducing a deep state of relaxation, insightful presence, and elevated mood. Kundalini chants will be included. This is an amazing selfcare way to welcome in the new season.

In this workshop participants will learn about ancient healing herbs, as well as some western herbs local
to our area, and make their own tea blends. Followed by an introduction to Ayurveda, participants will
discover the health benefits of several herbs that can be brewed as a tea. We will taste several different
herbal teas and participants will create their own blends to take home!

Meet at the studio and explore part of the Jockey Hollow path for a easy 2.5 mile hike. We will then return to the studio for an outdoors (weather permitting) Nature inspired yoga class. This will be available to all levels.
