We strive to offer a vibe that makes every feel comfortable and connected. Often, the fast pace of life can cause us to feel distracted, disconnected. At South Street Yoga and Nutrition, we quiet the mind, release inner peace, and find center with our selves. Our primary class offering is Vinyasa Yoga. In Vinyasa, the poses are linked together in a series of movements that are synchronized with the breath. The continual movements, from one pose to another, gives you cardiovascular benefits, can increase muscle strength, endurance and flexibility, and reduce levels of stress. Vinyasa yoga offers much diversity. The pace can vary and there is no one particular sequence that instructors must follow. The name vinyasa translates as "variations within parameters." So, if one class doesn’t work for you, try another, until you find one that you are comfortable with. Additionally, we offer a variety of specialty classes classes, yin, restorative, kundalini, meditation and absolute beginners classes. We host workshops on the weekends, offer free community classes and private lessons to help meet your specific needs. Our nutrition is based on a holistic approach where we try to get to the root of what is causing the "dis-ease" We can help you meet your dietary goals; weight loss, reduction of disease symptoms, development of a healthier cache of recipes and lifestyle re-vamp. We welcome you to our community!
